Heron's Lodge is a single-storey detached bungalow on the edge of this rural landscape, privately positioned with its own parking for two cars and a substantial garden.
Inside, everything happens on one level: a living room with Freeview TV and DVDs, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with a gas cooker, microwave and washing machine. The double bedroom is paired with a shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included in your stay. The garden offers a patio area with furniture, a BBQ, and a lawn beyond; a bike store is available if you plan to explore by cycle. Oil central heating keeps the bungalow warm. No smoking indoors.
The setting suits anyone looking to be among open countryside without losing access to local attractions. Pubs are within a mile's walk. A cot and high chair can be arranged if needed.

We stayed at Herons lodge 28th June for a week and we loved it! Very relaxing, beautiful scenery and everything you could need inside; every last thing has been thought of. The owner is lovely, his family are very welcoming and Daisy the dog greets you when you arrive too which is really nice :) The horses, ducks, chickens and geese that roam around are super friendly, I looked forward to seeing them when I opened the curtains each morning 😊 Towns and restaurants close by but just far enough away to have total peace; Wrights food emporium and Y Polyn are a must for great food! I can’t recommend Herons Lodge enough, an absolute gem! Thank you ☺️

Comfortable cottage n a smallholding in a rural setting. There is a small garden for guests use and the views are amazing. There is a lake within walking distance although down a sloping field. There is plenty of wildlife about including squirrels, ducks and geese together with the chickens on the smallholding.

Lovely self catering cottage with stunning views. Cottage is clean, tidy and well stocked (although a bigger freezer would be appreciated) eg washing machine. Large kitchen, king size bed, walk in shower and cosy living room. Location is a perfect place to relax in the middle of rural Wales, yet only 10 mins from Carmarthen or 5mins to the Botanical Gardens. Would definitely revisit/rebook.
