About Alltyfyrddin Farm
Alltyfyrddin Farm suits travellers after a quiet, countryside break rather than a city stopover - families with children, couples wanting space to roam, or anyone keen to be based on a working farm rather than in a town centre. With only five rooms, it has the feel of a small, personally run guesthouse, and Carmarthen itself is a few miles off, so it works best for those happy to drive in for shops or restaurants rather than walk to them.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children, along with kids' meals on request. A full breakfast is included, and a packed lunch or picnic can be arranged for days spent out on the farm's nature trails or in the garden, which looks out over the surrounding hills. There's also a bar on site, outdoor seating, free WiFi, and free on-site parking, plus practical extras like luggage storage, laundry service and 24 hour reception.
Beyond the farm, the Gwili Railway is a nearby point of interest worth building a day around, and the local area has a golf course, pubs, restaurants and other entertainment within reach. It's a straightforward, family-friendly base for exploring Carmarthenshire at an easy pace.

Stayed for 2 nights, couldn't ask for better! Location is far enough but not too far from Carmarthen (nothing wrong with Carmarthen, I just prefer accommodation out of town where possible, far more peaceful), beautiful setting and building, booked somewhat last minute but communication was great and the owners very attentive but not overbearing. Price was more than reasonable for a well kept, clean room with good quality towels, good sized bathroom and a beautifully prepared breakfast included! 10/10 will stay again when I'm in the area.

We had a good stay at the family run farm. The rooms are well done and kept to a great standard. It is a working dairy farm, so you need to bear some smell of manure when entering the main building. The views are lovely all around. Huge dining area, which was used for serving breakfast. The family lives in the same building, so please be mindful of the noise. We were a boistrous bunch with kids in tow and did end up disturbing them with a bit of noise.

A really quiet country location but just everything superb. Sharon was so friendly and helpful and the room was spotless. The breakfast menu had all you could wish for and freshly cooked to order!

Met by Sharon who was a great host. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. It was a privilege to stay on this working farm. I would happily stay here again.
