In the living landscape of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, between woodland and open countryside, Owl Cottage sits on 25 acres of grounds where red kites soar overhead and roe deer move through the trees. The property is part of Maesydderwen, a collection of holiday cottages built on what was once a working farm and later an inn, with the owners on-site and the charming market town of Llandeilo—full of independent shops, restaurants and pubs—a short drive away.

Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a woodburner, a kitchen with a full-size cooker, two bedrooms (one double, one with bunks), and a shower room. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed, lawned garden, which also has a patio, furniture and a barbecue. One dog can stay free of charge. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; there's also an external laundry room shared with other cottages on-site, and parking for two cars. The grounds include a stream, a pond and sloping banks—families with children under five should note this when considering a stay. Smoking is not permitted indoors.

We spent the Easter weekend here on Owl Cottage with our dogs. This is the 2nd time we have been. It's absolutely beautiful, relaxing and picturesque. Angela & Shaun are super helpful and are on hand all the time if you need them. We didn't want to leave! We will be back soon ❤️

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here the place was spotless with all the things you could need to enjoy your stay the owners are fantastic and always on hand to help with anything the peaceful surroundings of just birds and nature and the hottub is a blessing especially at night wile star gazing if one is drinking wine / drinks I recommend picking up a few plastic wine glasses as one wouldn't wont any accidents with any glass or bottles plenty of places to head off on walks and they do allowed you to take a BBQ il be definitely bringing one on my next stay there if not and you fancy a bit of pub grub there's a few pubs with in 8min drive and do Sunday dinners to 😋 it's definitely another beautiful place I'd recommend and look forward to friends and family joining me next time 🤩👌🏾🥂
