Robin Cottage is a ground-floor terraced property at Maesydderwen, a collection of holiday cottages built from a former working farm within Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. The building sits within 25 acres of natural grounds that blend gardens with working landscape—lawned areas with patio and BBQ, surrounded by woodland where red kites circle overhead and roe deer move through the trees. The site has its own water supply from a well, and the grounds include a stream, wetland and disused quarry alongside the manicured spaces.

Inside, everything is on one level: an open-plan living and dining area with wood-burner, kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, two bedrooms (one double, one with bunks), and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all included. Your private hot tub sits outside; laundry facilities are shared with other properties on the site. There is parking for two cars. The cottage suits families and groups of four, though children under five cannot use the hot tub. No smoking is permitted.

Llandeilo, a market town with restaurants, cafes and independent shops, is three miles away. Walking routes run directly from the property, and the grounds themselves reward slow exploration—the woodland regularly attracts woodpeckers, nuthatches, marsh tits and siskins. Nick Membery Pottery and other attractions lie within easy reach for days when you want to venture further.

We spent the Easter weekend here on Owl Cottage with our dogs. This is the 2nd time we have been. It's absolutely beautiful, relaxing and picturesque. Angela & Shaun are super helpful and are on hand all the time if you need them. We didn't want to leave! We will be back soon ❤️
