Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages - The Lodge
Carmarthenshire
View on Google MapsCouples seeking seclusion will find The Lodge suits them well. This single-bedroom cottage stands alone on the grounds of Maesydderwen, a former working farm turned holiday complex within Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. The whole property is yours: a living and dining space with woodburner, a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking, one double bedroom, and a shower room, all on the ground floor. Outside, a private hot tub overlooks the grounds, and a patio with garden furniture opens onto a lawned area.
The 25 acres of woodland and natural landscape are shared with the owner and other properties on-site, offering genuine peace without isolation. Wildlife regularly appears—woodpeckers, nuthatches, marsh tits, and roe deer—and red kites circle overhead. You can walk straight from the cottage into the surroundings. Llandeilo's restaurants, cafes and shops lie just over three miles away. Parking for two cars is provided on-site, and essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The grounds contain an unfenced pond, stream and disused quarry; children under five cannot use the hot tub. No smoking is permitted inside.

We spent the Easter weekend here on Owl Cottage with our dogs. This is the 2nd time we have been. It's absolutely beautiful, relaxing and picturesque. Angela & Shaun are super helpful and are on hand all the time if you need them. We didn't want to leave! We will be back soon ❤️
