Llandeilo's market town sits just over three miles away, with independent shops, restaurants and pubs within easy reach. The cottage occupies part of what was once a working farm, now a collection of holiday properties set across 25 acres of grounds that include woodland, a stream and natural wetland. The immediate landscape draws serious birdwatchers and those after a quieter break—woodpeckers, marsh tits, nuthatches and wild roe deer inhabit the grounds, and red kites can often be spotted overhead. Walks start from the doorstep; the surrounding terrain is steep enough to reward proper boots, but gentle enough for an afternoon ramble.

Wren Cottage is ground-floor throughout: a combined living and dining space with woodburner, a kitchen fitted with what you need to cook properly, two bedrooms (one double, one single, sleeping three total) and a shower room. The private hot tub overlooks the gardens. Essentials like heating, linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is shared with other properties on-site. Nick Membery Pottery is nearby for those interested in ceramics. Children under five are not permitted to use the hot tub; the grounds contain an unfenced pond and stream, and the water supply comes from a well.

We spent the Easter weekend here on Owl Cottage with our dogs. This is the 2nd time we have been. It's absolutely beautiful, relaxing and picturesque. Angela & Shaun are super helpful and are on hand all the time if you need them. We didn't want to leave! We will be back soon ❤️

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here the place was spotless with all the things you could need to enjoy your stay the owners are fantastic and always on hand to help with anything the peaceful surroundings of just birds and nature and the hottub is a blessing especially at night wile star gazing if one is drinking wine / drinks I recommend picking up a few plastic wine glasses as one wouldn't wont any accidents with any glass or bottles plenty of places to head off on walks and they do allowed you to take a BBQ il be definitely bringing one on my next stay there if not and you fancy a bit of pub grub there's a few pubs with in 8min drive and do Sunday dinners to 😋 it's definitely another beautiful place I'd recommend and look forward to friends and family joining me next time 🤩👌🏾🥂
