Swn-Y-Don is a spacious wing of a restored stone mansion on a working farm in Carmarthenshire, set on high ground with long views across rolling fields and down to Carmarthen Bay. You arrive into a light, ground-floor living and dining space with a wood-burning stove, a full kitchen with dishwasher and electric cooker, a utility room with washing machine, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with zip-and-link singles—and a bathroom with both a roll-top bath and walk-in shower.
Outside, a large garden with decking wraps around the property. The hot tub sits on the terrace where you can soak while watching the view; on clear nights the dark skies are good for stargazing. There's space for a barbecue, garden furniture, and parking for two cars. Llansteffan village is a short walk away through meadows and woodland, with a sandy beach, castle ruins dating back to the 12th century, and places to eat. Electricity, wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; the wood-burner comes with its first load of logs. The property is non-smoking and sleeps up to four people.
