The Byre

The Byre sits in countryside near Llanelli, within reach of Welsh coastal towns and villages. This converted farm building offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms across a ground floor and first floor layout. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space centres on a wood burner, with a separate kitchen for cooking. One bedroom holds a zip-and-link super kingsize bed; the other has a single and another zip-and-link super kingsize. Both floors have shower rooms with heated towel rails.

The essentials are covered: electricity, bed linen, towels, wi-fi and wood burner fuel are all included. Parking for two cars sits on site. Outside, a courtyard and sitting area with garden furniture and a barbecue face the grounds, plus a children's play area shared with other properties nearby. One well-behaved pet stays free. The cottage does not permit smoking.

This works well for families or groups seeking a quieter base for exploring the area's quiet beaches, walking routes and local cafés, or simply staying put for a few days to rest.
