Afon Duad Inn

Absolutely LOVELY hosts, with myself not being the most talkative of persons, these hosts most definitely made me feel at home and very welcome so probably to them for that! Food has been absolutely lovely between evening meals and breakfasts, top notch 👌🏽 nothing but absolute kind to me rooms are nice and lovely & clean, everything you could ask for, comfy beds and the whole accommodation from top to bottom is simply lovely! Very decent WiFi considering the rather remote location, and actually holds up very well especially to some more, “less rural” locations, so if I was to rate this establishment, I would give this a 4.5/5 considering I travel away a lot with work, about 3-4, sometimes maybe 5 times during a week within my line of work, and I would say this place is almost faultless, the only mark down I have is the location which can’t be helped, but all in all, great place, great service and food, prices are very respectable…would I come here again..with work, ABSOLUTELY, if I was to be away in the area out of work, it would be a high consideration without a doubt, lovely place, took care of me very well 🫶🏼

Was the warmest welcome we have had Sion and Sandra run an amazing place The home cooked food is amazing proper hosts engaging with everyone we cannot recommend this place enough a true gem with a wonderful nights sleep and good banter in the bar thank you for having us

The cottage is lovely. Clean and fully equipped which was great for my small family. Everything was clean and modern but it had that old cottage feel too. Underfloor heating ensured we were warm. The kitchen is ideal for self catering and the two bathrooms are more than adequate. The bonus of parking just two or three steps away from the door was welcome. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. We soon discovered that the inn next door was also a great place for an evening out. Great beer and food. There is also a lovely large fireplace with log fire. We could not fault anything about the cottage or the inn. We look forward to staying again and we wholeheartedly recommend both places as a great place to stay.

The food??? Is undescribedelly good . The best gravy ever.personally I don't like gravy but this one is next level. Sandra and John ( English version)lovely to meet you .
