About Travelodge Burton M6 Northbound
Travelodge Burton M6 Northbound puts the Lake District within easy driving reach, sitting right on the M6 between junctions 35 and 36 at the Carnforth services. It works well as a stopover for anyone breaking a longer journey north or south, or as a low-cost base for exploring the surrounding area rather than staying in the national park itself.
The hotel has 47 rooms across two floors, all en suite, with accessible rooms available and drinks provided in-room. Free on-site parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, along with electric vehicle charging points and WiFi throughout. Breakfast is available, and food options are close at hand thanks to the Moto service area's own dining outlets and a nearby Burger King, so there's no need to go looking far for a meal.
Pets are welcome and reception operates around the clock, which suits guests arriving late or setting off early. This is a practical, no-frills option built for convenience on the road rather than a destination stay, with Lake District attractions reachable by car from the services.
