Hosts (Ken and Sarah) were very helpful and polite. We stayed for a week in Mallard lodge that was very clean and with everything we required during our stay. Fishing wise..a perfect venue for coarse fishing with plenty of bream, roach, carp and grass carp. For carp I used 2-4 mm pellets and constant feeding .. don't use dog food 🙃. Hope we will come again soon 😊

Absolutely waste of time. Owner was nice, but the fact that they dont let you park near the lake, not even to unload is ridiculous.. there were 4 of us on the lake and noone had a single take.. which is fine. Fishing isn't always the best, but this lake has great potential and just noone seems to be arsed about it. Defo won't be back.

Had a lovely week here. The site is dog friendly. The lake is tidy and well presented. Fishing was a bit moody. But the temperature was high, you could see the larger fish cruising on the surface. You could catch the small silver fish all day. Take some fly repellent. We were in the apartment, which was very nice, clean and tidy. With everything you need. Bed was a little hard, and you could hear upstairs. Location is great for travelling to see sites. Very relaxing holiday. I would return.
