Arkholme sits in the valley of the River Lune, a few miles from the motorway but close enough to the Yorkshire Dales and South Lake District to make it a base for exploring both. Kirkby Lonsdale, the market town six miles away, has shops, restaurants and pubs. The village itself is quiet countryside, and Gowan View sits within it as a newly built house designed around natural light and space.

The whole ground floor is one open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with floor-to-ceiling windows and bi-folding doors that open to an enclosed, lawned garden with seating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine included. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms means no queuing: two kingsize bedrooms each have their own ensuite with shower and heated towel rail, while the third bedroom has two single beds and its own shower room. Bed linen, towels, electricity, wi-fi and underfloor heating are all included. The house has private parking for three cars, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.
