Small, quiet and friendly meadowland touring park in the Arnside and Silverdale AONB.

About Hall More Holiday Park

Tucked into the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hall More is a small, meadowland touring park that trades bells and whistles for peace and simplicity. You'll find the essentials—electric hook-ups, clean showers and toilets, fresh drinking water, and a warm welcome for dogs—but no Wi-Fi, which suits the quiet, back-to-basics feel perfectly.

It's genuinely friendly and family-welcoming, the sort of place where you pitch up, unwind, and use it as a relaxed springboard for exploring South Cumbria's gentle coastline and limestone hills. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places, but most appreciate the unhurried atmosphere and straightforward charm. If you want a no-fuss site in lovely countryside near Milnthorpe, this fits the bill.

As a wheelchair user they had no disabled facilities for me to use i had to use their sister site swimming showers to beable to get a shower which I think is disgusting in 2026 the site itself is nice but the facilities are awful for disabled

Beautiful location, but very poor preparation and facilities. While the area itself is beautiful and the staff were helpful, the overall experience was disappointing due to several avoidable issues. 1. The key was not available at the property itself and had to be collected from another building a short drive away - something we were not informed about in advance. 2. £100 deposit was unexpectedly taken at check‑in without any prior notice. Recovering this deposit proved unnecessarily difficult - after making multiple phone calls, I was eventually told the delay was due to the company holding incorrect card details. 3. Basic essentials were missing: no toilet roll in the bathroom, no foot mat provided, and the room was very cold on arrival with a heater that did not work. 4. The wood pieces supplied for the hot tub had rusted nails and screws protruding, which was unsafe. On the positive side, the setting is lovely, the staff were friendly, and the wood‑fired hot tub was a highlight. Overall, though, the lack of transparency, poor preparation, and unsafe facilities made the stay frustrating. With better communication and attention to detail, this could have been a much more enjoyable experience.

Lovely place to visit with a well kept fishing lake, and the main site up the road offers good food and facilities

Pros - Heater works Its a night away Good scenery Nice walks Back up sofa bed Cons- You have to clean your own wood burner before use as it wont light properly otherwise. Hot tub takes 5-7 business days to warm up You'll have to scoop your own little pals out of the hot tub before use and clean it first otherwise youll be taking a dip in cold stagnant smelly water. Mold in shower Battered knife block with missing knife Green decking thats slippy and smells of dog urine when wet Dirty tables Dirty bedding Shower cant decide if you deserve 3rd degree burns or hypothermia You will probably leave after 1 night. £330 to spend half your evening off cleaning fires and rubbish and everything else. If you dont take your own bbq which thankfully we did, you will be cooking on a dirty hob Fridge freezer warm and smelly. List goes on We still found humour in it and enjoyed our night as it was our first one in 5 years kid free and illness free, we left after the morning and spent the day in arnside instead. I dont know if I have high standards with being a hotel cleaner or if im just overreacting, but for the price, I expected at least clean bedding and no rubbish. Save your money.
