We went there because we wanted to try the famous Angus beef, "the" local speciality. We were told they’d run out, but the waitress recommended the homemade steak pie… only for another waitress to tell us they’d run out of that too. We settled for a lasagne – which was actually good-. I suppose I’ll have to go to Italy to eat Angus beef... In short, a huge disappointment. Note: not the slightest gesture of goodwill, such as offering us a glass of wine, no, just “yes, it’s very busy tonight”.
