My wife and I had a night here, an overnight stay before visiting friends who were staying at Stourhead. Welcoming, clean and easy to find. An excellent breakfast was included in the room rate. There is a good play area for children so it would be a good stop for families. Highly recommended.

Great unlimited carvery booking advisable. Not tried anything else off menu. Large outside seating good play area and animals like goats in the garden. Downside the toilets need a good clean not just from a busy day thick dust and floor not been cleaned for a longtime. Carvery is great value a large selection of vegetable and choice of up to 3 meats.

Visited for Sunday lunch. The carvery was good, with plenty of choice, and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, and both the tables and the bar area were sticky, which let the experience down. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and service speed, this could be a much better dining experience.
