What visitors say

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Gupton Farm Campsite and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Pembrokeshire. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by Antonio. He gave us one of the warmest and friendliest welcomes we've ever received at a campsite. Throughout our stay, whenever we had a question, he was always more than happy to help, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. It's clear he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. The campsite itself is excellent. The location is hard to beat, with Freshwater West just a 10 minute walk away, making it perfect for beach walks, surfing or simply enjoying the incredible scenery. Although the campsite was busy during our stay, it never felt overcrowded. The pitches are well spaced, giving everyone plenty of room and privacy. We also really appreciated the thoughtful facilities, including a communal fridge for campers, charging points for phones and other devices, and the wheelbarrows provided to help transport your belongings to your pitch. The showers and toilet facilities were clean throughout our stay, and the whole site had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that made it a pleasure to stay there. Our only piece of feedback is actually about the website. The photos really don't do the campsite justice. We booked with fairly low expectations because the pictures didn't fully showcase what the site has to offer, and we only chose it because other options were limited. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The reality is far better than the photos suggest, and we think updating them would help more people discover what a brilliant campsite this is. Gupton Farm offers fantastic value for money, wonderful staff, excellent facilities and an unbeatable location. We had such a great experience that we'd happily return, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a campsite in Pembrokeshire.

Great location, lovely new facilities. £10 for walk-in backpacker doing the coastal path. Only complaint, the online booking system insisted I had to be two people staying two nights, seeking payment of £42. This was off-putting. The phone number rang to voicemail and was about membership. Great that the National Trust are offering camping, but high-ups need to sort the web-booking out, please.

We stayed here out of main season in March, with our motorhome. A warm welcome from the colourful bunting at the entrance to the lane, as well as from the lovely staff! Such a great spot, nestled in and quite protected. Has a real ‘away from it all’ vibe, but is walkable to Freshwater West beach and only a few minutes drive to Pembroke if you need supplies. Loads of open space, a warm visitors room with tonnes of info. We didn’t explore the other facilities as it was still out of season/we were more or less self contained but can imagine it is wonderful at any time of year.
