Bay View Cottage

Through the entrance of Bay View Cottage you step into an open-plan ground floor where living, dining and kitchen areas flow together. A 42-inch TV, DVD player and electric fire occupy the living space; the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Patio doors lead to the garden. Upstairs, a bedroom with a king-size bed opens onto a balcony overlooking Cardigan Bay and the countryside beyond. The ensuite has a shower and toilet. One small dog is welcome here.

The cottage sits in its own lawned garden with furniture and parking for two cars. Beyond that, you can wander the owners' three acres of grounds, which include a pond. Llanon village—with a pub and shops—is about a mile away, and the coast is within walking distance. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The area offers sandy beaches (many dog-friendly year-round), cliff walks and access to the Wales Coastal Path; Aberaeron and New Quay are nearby if you want a change of scenery. No smoking in the property.
