Cych Cottage

Cych Cottage is one of six converted barns at Penwern Fach, a rural holiday site near Cardigan in Ceredigion. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with one bathroom. Ground floor has an open-plan living and dining space with a wood burner, a kitchen equipped for self-catering, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are the bedrooms and bathroom with bath and shower. The wood for the burner is supplied, and essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.

Outside, a patio and garden furniture sit in the front garden alongside a BBQ. The wider grounds are shared with the other properties on site and include a golf practice area, children's play area and games room. A single pet is welcome provided it's kept on a lead—the surrounding land is working sheep country. Private parking for two cars is on site, along with an electric vehicle charging point. No smoking inside.

The cottage is close enough to Cenarth to explore the village and its waterfall, and within reach of walks across the Preseli Hills. Families and couples looking for a rural base with some on-site activity options will find it practical; it suits those who want a quiet countryside setting but don't want to be entirely isolated.
