Gwynt y Mor

Ceredigion

View on Google Maps

Cardigan's working harbour and castle are within reach, but the main draw here is the landscape itself. Gwynt y Mor sits just 100 yards from the cliff top overlooking the Teifi Estuary, where the shingle bays and exposed sandbanks at low tide make for compelling walking country. The rugged shoreline justifies a stay built around exploration—muddy shoes and salt-soaked clothes are part of the appeal.

The house is entirely on ground level: two double bedrooms with ensuite showers, two twin rooms, and a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower. The living room opens via patio doors to the garden; the kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, and the essentials for cooking properly. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer means you can deal with the inevitable aftermath of cliff walks and beach days. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The enclosed garden has a terrace and furniture; a private hot tub is available until 10pm each evening. Space for three cars in the private parking area. Travel cots and a highchair are available if needed.

Gwynt y Mor sleeps 8 and suits families or groups wanting a base rather than a retreat. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
