Inland, the Teifi Valley and Preseli Hills offer quieter terrain to explore, while nearby towns—Cardigan, Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and New Quay itself—have shops, restaurants and cultural venues. This location sits on the edge of countryside that still feels genuinely remote.
Let's Glamp Retro Queen is a 1970s or 80s-themed glamping pod that sleeps six. Everything happens on the ground floor: a living area with sofa bed and record player, dining space, kitchen with hob and combi oven, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and smart TV, one with bunk beds for children), and a shower room. Outside, a decked area overlooks a pond and meadows—where you'll see red kites, buzzards and owls—and holds a wood-fired hot tub. A gravelled space has a large picnic table.
Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The pod is yours alone. No smoking inside. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Check-in is after 16:30 and checkout before 09:30.

We had an amazing stay at Lets glamp retro and couldn't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, making us feel right at home. We had a fabulous three nights! The pod was perfect for our family, the two boys especially loved the bunk beds! The surroundings are amazing, full of wildlife, peaceful and picturesque, well maintained and curated. The sports area at the back was perfect for the boys to get their football fix! A great spot for exploring that part of Wales, with the hosts full of excellent recommendations and a one of the best visitors guides we’ve come across. Our hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home and the few questions we had were super fast to respond. It really is an amazing spot for a little break and we would strongly recommend it to anyone!

Loved staying here for two nights - 2 pods, 4 adults, 5 kids. Pre-arrival communication was super helpful and the owners were very flexible with us changing the number of people coming and various other changes. Kids loved the space, the outdoor games provided and being able to roam. Pods do exactly what they need to do, are very clean, comfortable and have lots of attention to detail in their design. The hot tubs were a hit with adults and kids alike. Heating them is a bit of a pain and requires some pre-planning…do yourself a favour and have the owners show you how to heat them (vs trying to figure it out yourself, like I did). The adult bbq packs that you can pre-order from the local butcher through the pod owners are really good value and quality. Would definitely consider coming back.

Our family glamping stay was truly memorable. The location was perfect—peaceful, secluded, and beautifully close to nature. Nights were especially magical; we’ve never seen so many stars lighting up the sky before. The whole experience felt like a real escape from the noise of everyday life. Everything was thoughtfully set up, allowing us to relax and enjoy the surroundings fully. A special mention to Mark and his wife, who went above and beyond on several occasions to make sure we were comfortable. Mark's kindness and willingness to help really made a difference to our stay. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, nature-filled getaway with a personal touch.
