An 18th-century milking shed converted to a high standard in 2020, Ty Arth retains original features throughout. The cottage sits on a quiet smallholding near Maen-y-groes, five acres of rural Ceredigion where red kites are regularly spotted. The famous coastal paths pass behind the property, and a short walk leads down to New Quay's shops, restaurants and beaches.

The ground floor is open plan, with a living area featuring a smart TV and wood-effect stove, a dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Underfloor heating keeps things warm. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a super king bed, the other with zip-and-link twins that can become a second super king if needed. There is one bathroom with both bath and shower. Outside, a patio with furniture overlooks the grounds, and there is a grassed area with picnic benches where a dog can roam safely. The property sleeps four, and one pet stays free. Essentials including linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are covered. Couples and families only; no hen or stag parties.

We had a great holiday in this beautiful cottage which is spacious and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was fantastic and the cottage had so many wonderful amenities. One point we would like to make though is that we wanted to relax in front of the TV in the evenings and we found the sofa's extremely uncomfortable and not great for lounging, they felt like you were sat in a waiting room. The sofas were also in the wrong position to watch the TV, which was, in our opinion, too small for the size of room. Other than that though everything else was excellent. Thank you

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming cottage in Newquay, Wales. It was the perfect size for our family of four and offered everything we needed for a relaxing break. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cosy, with all the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better, peaceful and picturesque, not far from the beach, coastal walks, and local shops and cafes. We spent our days exploring the stunning coastline and came back in the evenings to enjoy quiet family time in the comfort of the cottage. The hosts were friendly and attentive, providing clear instructions and thoughtful recommendations for things to do in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended

What a wonderful place....My husbabd and I and our 2 dogs had our first holiday here and it definitely wont be our last. Beautiful cottage with super decor and fully equipped with everything you need. Met Gareth and what a lovely guy he was, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is tucked away and so secure and peaceful just what we like and a short drive or walk away from our favourite New Quay and other beautiful sights around Cardigan Bay all within a short drive too. Thanks Gareth & Karen for a truly relaxing and delightful week spent with you in West Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
