Red Kite Cottage

Red Kite Cottage stands alone in Maesymeillion, a quiet hamlet in mid-Wales. The detached building holds a bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed, and downstairs a living and dining space with a working wood burner, plus a compact kitchen and shower room. There's an enclosed patio accessed through French doors, furnished and ready for outdoor meals or morning coffee. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; the heating is electric throughout.

The cottage suits two people and has private parking for two cars. Children under 12 are not accommodated. The location puts you within reach of Cardigan Bay's coastline—Penbryn, Llangrannog and Tresaith are among the beaches nearby—and the Ceredigion Coastal Path runs along the cliffs. Boat trips operate from local harbours for dolphin and seal watching. Llandysul, a few miles away, is home to a canoe centre on the River Teifi. If you prefer to stay inland, there are walking routes across the hills, and a narrow-gauge railway runs through the valleys.
