Would highly recommend this stay to anyone who loves a short (or long) break away for peace and quiet with their pup. We arrived around 8pm we would have arrived earlier but due to a popped Tyre we had a delay. I contacted Claire and she was very considerate with this which eased our minds. Once we arrived it was very easy to settle in as everything was more or less set up and the heating was on which was nice considering the cold and rainy weather. It was a lovely accommodation very quirky but rustic design, all amenities needed were there kettle, hairdryer Hoover ect. They are a lovely family who has their own little farm, we did want to shop local for our eggs as they do offer this however, their chickens aren’t laying due to the cold weather ( hoping you get loads of eggs soon). Many things to do nearby, especially walks and lovely scenery. Our dog absolutely loved it too, especially the nice walks!!! And peeking out of the window every morning at the chickens. We would definitely come back as they definitely consider a lot of factors when it comes to providing for their guests, Thankyou for our stay x

Home after the most magical stay at Thistledown, extended by an extra night thanks to the snow ❄️ From the moment I and pooch arrived, hosts Claire and Tim were incredibly warm, welcoming and approachable. The care, attention and hospitality they showed throughout our stay was exceptional, and their support during the adverse weather meant so much, especially as a solo traveller ♥️ The hut itself was beautifully warm and cosy, with every little detail thoughtfully done (the welcome goodies were delicious too!). It was full of love. The private bathroom was equally stunning, complete with a powerful rainfall shower and spotlessly clean 🫧 The absolute highlight was the wood-fired hot tub. From magical nights under the Wolf Moon ... sunny mornings ... and snowy afternoon dips, it was pure bliss ✨ Although we didn’t get to fully explore the area as we were snowed in for three days (the perfect excuse to demolish all the Christmas cheese and chocolates 😆😂) We will most definitely be back. In the meantime, me and pooch 100% recommend Thistledown ... a true 10/10, 5-star stay xx

Stayed in Wren in August for my birthday and had the most magical time, such a lovely peaceful cabin and we enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub. Had amazing weather and went down to Tenby for the day. 10/10 recommend have such good memories here!
