Families and couples after genuine countryside quiet will find The Mill works well. Two bedrooms—a double with ensuite, a twin—and a single bathroom sit upstairs; downstairs is an open plan living and dining space with a woodburner, kitchen with oven, hob and dishwasher, and a utility room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is an unfenced stream twenty yards from the garden, so the property doesn't suit families with children under five.
The building forms part of a larger rural property near Tregaron, in the Cambrian Mountains—one of Britain's remoter upland areas. Tregaron itself is a small market town with independent shops, an award-winning pub and restaurant, and hosts the annual Walking Festival each May. The surrounding mountains are crossed by scenic roads popular with walkers and cyclists. One dog stays free. Private parking for two cars is on site, and a patio with garden furniture overlooks the grounds.
