Y Ty Glas

New Quay is a working fishing town on the Ceredigion coast, with a sheltered harbour, colourful seafront houses, and enough pubs and restaurants to sustain a proper holiday. The beach sits five minutes' walk away on foot. Y Ty Glas is a terraced cottage on a quiet street within easy reach of all this, with parking for two cars and an enclosed gravelled courtyard for outdoor sitting.

Four bedrooms sleep eight: upstairs there are two singles and a bunk bed (the latter for children), plus a bathroom with a bath and shower; on the second floor is another kingsize bedroom with a DAB radio. The ground floor has a fourth kingsize bed in a separate space, alongside a shower room. The open-plan living and kitchen area contains a woodburner, Freeview television, and everything needed for self-catering—dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, and a coffee machine included. There's a separate dining room with access to the garden. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are supplied; oil central heating and initial fuel for the fire are included. One dog stays free.

The Wales Coastal Path runs nearby, boat trips into Cardigan Bay for dolphin watching depart from the harbour, and the summer months bring sailing, fishing and water sports to the water. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
