Cineworld Witney

Incredibly disappointing experience at Cineworld Witney. We had accidentally booked two tickets for different showtimes, but the seats were next to each other, making it obvious that this was a genuine mistake rather than an attempt to misuse the booking system. We explained the situation to the young lady at the counter on Saturday evening and were immediately dismissed. While she acknowledged it was unfortunate, we were simply told that nothing could be done and that we would need to purchase another ticket. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was advised that nobody was available. I was also told that, for health and safety reasons, we would not be allowed to use the ticket we had already purchased. What was most disappointing was not the outcome itself, but the complete lack of empathy or willingness to help. There was no attempt to explore possible solutions, no understanding of what was clearly an honest mistake, and no sense that customer service was a priority. The interaction left us feeling like our concerns simply didn't matter. Customer service can make or break an experience, and unfortunately this was one of the poorest examples we've encountered. As a result, we will not be returning to Cineworld and will choose alternative cinemas in the future.

Great local cinema in town with really friendly staff. Facilities always clean. This place is a real asset. I don’t think enough people go there, which is a shame. Maybe it needs more advertising locally. It’s always been fantastic.

Very much a premium cinema. Great staff (many thanks to the patient staff member at the kiosk for help, I believe his name was Thomas?), very clean and professional environment. The only con to this place is the pricey food and drink (even with the 25% Unlimited discount, in my opinion), and the occasional fumble in screenings, I remember this cinema never showing a screening for the Chainsaw Man film forcing me to go to Oxford Vue. Overall, quite a reliably high quality cinema experience.

Comfortable seats, good quality screens and sound. 2D and 3D. It seems the toilets may need some maintenance. Free parking in the multi-storey.
