Hailey Hamlet Cottage
West Oxfordshire
Hailey Hamlet Cottage sits in the quiet village of Hailey in West Oxfordshire, a few miles from Witney. The approach is through an enclosed rear garden with patio seating and space to sit out; private parking for two cars is tucked behind. You arrive at the back door into a kitchen/dining room where you can cook proper meals, then through to a sitting room on the ground floor warmed by a log burner in an inglenook fireplace. Stone walls and exposed beams run through these rooms, giving the place its traditional character.
Upstairs are three bedrooms: a kingsize with its own shower room on the first floor, two doubles (one also on the first floor, one in the eaves on the second), and a family bathroom with a bath and shower. The cottage sleeps six. Steep stairs between floors are typical of the period property. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included; the log burner comes with initial fuel. One dog stays free. There is no smoking throughout the cottage. Garden steps mean some areas are less accessible, and the entrance involves a couple of steps.
The village location suits those after countryside quiet while still being near Witney and within reach of the Cotswolds for exploring on foot or by car.
