What visitors say

Bill Staples

Chris, who owns the farm the campsite sits on, is the reason this place is special. Genuinely kind, caring and accommodating, very personable and takes a real interest in the people staying. You can tell running the campsite brings him real joy, and that comes through in everything. He deserves every bit of praise going, and he was regularly out mopping the bathrooms while we were there. Facilities were spotless and the bathroom block was spacious. Three toilets and two showers sounds tight on paper, but the site is small enough that we never once waited. Chris and his wife bake fresh pastries the night before and sell them from a little stand along with soft drinks, ice creams and chocolate bars. No allocated pitches, which we liked. You just get pointed to an area and can spread out properly. Other campers were friendly but kept to themselves. Lovely views, and very peaceful despite the Roman Road alongside, as barely anything comes down it. Well located between Weymouth and Lyme Regis. No frills in the best possible way, just relaxing.

Chris and the team are absolutely great and they take so much pride and care of the site. The showers are maintained throughout the day and are basically spotless. You can also order freshly baked pastries for morning breakfast in the morning which is a great treat!! Great views and approx 20-30min drive from all the major areas. We will definately be coming back here

Fantastic site. Lovely friendly owner who is a font of knowledge on all things on the area. Some might consider the facilities basic, but has everything needed. The fresh bread and croissants etc in the morning are a brilliant idea. We will return.
