Behind a greystone farmhouse on the edge of a Dorset village, Higher Lewell's bell tents settle into a pretty paddock surrounded by fields—exceptionally roomy, peaceful, and perfectly placed for Jurassic Coast adventures. The nearest pub is a three-minute stroll, serving good meals and breakfast with terrace sunset views—handy for when barbecue duties lose their appeal. Dogs are welcome, though they must be comfortable around cats, chickens and other guests. Central Dorchester's restaurant scene and Weymouth harbour's eateries are both short drives. The perfect site for a weekend away with the kids. We hired the whole site and had the best time. It's incredibly child friendly, has everything you need, is well maintained, clean and pretty much perfect! This is our 3rd visit and we'll definitely make a trip to the bell tents an annual event. Excellent place to stay, very welcoming hosts and nothing too much trouble. lovely flat enclosed field and hot showers and compost toilets. Bell tents very clean and beautiful fairy lights at night. We stayed in our own camper van but were very impressed with the small site. Fridge at our use in the farmhouse. To top it all off doggy friendly with a great pub just down the road. Also very close to beaches ( 10 min drive) Would definitely go again. Thank you

Stayed in July and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sophia made us very welcome and the breakfasts were excellent. Our room overlooking the front of the hose had a comfortable bed was light and airy with a delightful view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Higher Lewell Farm, we stayed in one of the bell tents, 2 adults, 3 children & a small dog, there was plenty of room for us all, the facilities were lovely. We had a brilliant time BBQ-ing and toasting marshmallows in the evening. We highly recommend this place and will return again :)
