A very good cheap alternative to stay the night in expensive Cheltenham. Yes it is a pub but the rooms are quiet and the service is very friendly and polite. The full English breakfast cooked to order was great. Only problem is the room was very hot and stuffy due to the current heatwave but that's not the pun's fault. They did at least provide a small portable fan in the room. For £47 a night including breakfast it was a real bargain! Recommended!

Hired the function room for my sister's birthday. Fantastic owners! Before the party communication was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Made organizing nice and smooth. The room had everything we needed. Lots of entertainment/games we could all use. My boys especially enjoyed the darts and pool table. The skittle alley was a fab way for all the party to join in with and have a good laugh. Food quality was amazing 🤩 Fresh pizza and chips continued to come out.! The bar/ owner served the best shots and I was impressed with the different choices of spirits available ☺️ Highly recommend for a big,small gathering.! Have come here before for events and will continue to 😀

Fantastic and nice service. Food very good and fresh, large portions. English breakfast with warm and cold drinks to choose from. Location ok, parking spaces in the side streets. The rooms are very clean, quite spacious, the decor is a bit old but it has its charm - that's why we chose this place to stay. Affordable. I recommend

Lovely place to stay. Easy access to major routes to explore the local area. Very friendly staff always willing to help. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues as access to the rooms is up stairs
