A very comfy, homely set up. We stayed in the lower ground floor flat, which had everything we could possibly need to make our stay pleasant - tea, coffee & fresh milk, biscuits, television, dvd player & dvds, big squishy chairs & sofa, comfy beds, towels, and basic toiletries in the bathroom. Rather like an above-average Airbnb. The only negative was the amount of noise we could hear from the floor above. This is a busy household, so a lot of movement during the day, and something that sounded like a washer-dryer overnight. Breakfast was a relaxed affair in the kitchen of the family home, with the hosts there to prepare any cooked food requests and chat. The location is good - about 20 mins walk to the centre of Cheltenham, and 10 mins to the parks, cafes & restaurants of the Montpellier district. A real find 👍

Absolutely charming hosts and a delicious homemade breakfast to start the day. We were warmly welcomed by the delightful Gilly and Hugh, and were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready earlier than expected . A fantastic spot for an overnight stay in Cheltenham… we couldn’t have asked for better!

Lovely hosts, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Well located for a short walk to the centre of Cheltenham. Would stay here again.

To be honest I didn't expect Laurel House to be this good! I thought it would be "nice" but it is excellent. Run by a lovely couple and the facilities are first rate. Close enough to the centre for a short walk. Bad points... so minor it would be pathetic to even mention them! Good points - great value, lovely beds, free wifi, great breakfast and more besides! Would highly recommend!
