This place was absolutely fantastic and was a great surprise as a random stop on our road trip. The two ladies at the bar and the server were very friendly and nice which makes all the difference. Not only that but they cook absolutely amazing homemade food, and you can really tell it is homemade. This place felt very loved and cared for by its custodians and that was lovely to see in the heart of the Cotswolds. Tradition still alive and well here!

Great pub, and you can take your giant dog too! Phoned to reserve a table, wherebthey considered everything including your dog size! Food was good, and portion size was large - So value for money.

Had a super Sunday lunch here on May 10th. I had the dressed Crab while the others a traditional roast. Faultless with attentive understanding staff. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for food, Sunday lunch, as a group, 4 adults and 3 kids Fabulous service, they really couldn't do enough for us, the portions were massive and the Sunday roasts were perfectly cooked. The play things for the kids was great and fortunately the weather meant we could sit outside Will almost certainly return
