Banksiae

The Cherwell Valley sits at the threshold of the Cotswolds, close enough to Oxford and Woodstock for day trips yet set firmly in open countryside. Banksiae occupies the first floor of a converted wing within the grounds of a working plant nursery, offering seclusion without isolation. The apartment sleeps three: a king bedroom, a single room, and a shower room serving both. Downstairs, a living room with smart TV and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, dishwasher and coffee machine—open onto a sitting area in the enclosed garden. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; there is private parking for two cars and an electric charging point on site.

This is a ground-floor space with original features preserved alongside modern furnishings, including a bay window in the living room that frames views across the valley. The setting suits couples or small groups wanting to base themselves for exploring the area—Bicester Village and Soho Farmhouse are nearby, as are the gardens and attractions of Oxfordshire. The nursery itself, with its Tea Garden, is part of the experience of staying here. Children under 5 are not accommodated. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
