What visitors say
Beautifully situated campsite with nice, spacious pitches. Good location for visits to Oxford and Blenheim Palace. The absolute disappointment was the sanitary facilities. Outdated, but more importantly, not clean; in the three days we stayed there, the sanitary block was not cleaned even once.

Absolutely loved it here 😀 ❤️ The couple that run are fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful. The pitches are brilliant. All seem a good size with small bushes in between for that little bit of privacy. There's a fantastic little shop/tackle shop in the reception, which is well stocked with essentials, be it grocery or fishing tackle, it's also very reasonably priced. Don't think we've ever seen so many Red Kites or seen them so close, absolutely fantastic. There's 3 (I think 🤔) fishing lakes. We tried the small on for a couple of hours and caught 3 well conditioned carp. It was really windy and extremely chilly, but I would imagine you could "bag up" in warmer weather. Would we recommend this place to others - absolutely Will we be returning - most definitely

We booked this site through pitch up in October 2025 for a weeks stay in July 2026 for our ‘children’ to commute to Silverstone to the F1 whilst me and my wife chill out and explore the area. I was told today our stay and approx 60 others have been cancelled (some people due to arrive tomorrow) because the owner is developing the site. This is a disgusting way to treat people who have booked and paid deposits in good faith and I would urge people not to book this site if this is the way people are treated. Absolutely disgusted and feel sorry for the poor lady who spent her day at work ringing ‘customers’ to disappoint them. I will certainly never book here again.

Unreliable campsite with terrible customer service. When booking we tried to coordinate with the site but were met with unhelpful replies that made us feel it was an inconvenience for us to stay. Decided to persevere with the booking as the location was convenient for families travelling from different parts of the country. Fast forward 2 months, and like others our booking has been cancelled (yesterday) because we dared to want to bring children camping. Interesting to read the owners response to a review left a week ago that campers with cancelled bookings were contacted immediately. We clearly weren't. Given 2 weekends notice to find alternative pitches during peak season. Would strongly recommend avoiding this campsite. Terrible customer service and zero responsibility towards, or consideration of, campers and honouring reservations made months ago.
