The Nest

Couples will find The Nest a self-contained retreat on the grounds of Heald Country House near Wrenbury. The single bedroom has a kingsize bed and its own TV; downstairs, a living room with French doors opens onto a small enclosed courtyard with seating and a barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there's a shower room with heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; private parking for one car is on site.

The property sits in quiet countryside within walking distance of country pubs and close to the Bickerton Hills and Sandstone Trail. Cyclists will find the barns positioned on one of Cheshire's designated routes. From here, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester are each within an hour's drive, as are attractions like Chester Zoo, Delamere Forest and Ludlow. The market town of Nantwich is six miles away; North Wales beaches are roughly an hour distant. The area is dotted with National Trust properties, gardens and country walks. No smoking is permitted inside.
