What visitors say
This place was a total letdown. First of all, there is zero privacy — the neighboring cabin is right next door, and people could literally see us coming out of the shower and bathroom. None of this was shown in the photos, which feels incredibly misleading and frankly unacceptable. The cleanliness was also appalling. The kitchen was grimy, and the cabin was full of cobwebs — it felt neglected and unhygienic. To make things worse, my partner had a severe allergic reaction (possibly due to dust or mold), and we were forced to leave a whole night early in an emergency. If you’re planning to bring food, beware: the ice packs they provide do not keep anything cold, so bring your own or your food will spoil. The location is also terrible — hard to find, right next to a road, and literally in the middle of nowhere. There’s absolutely nothing to do. The host was nice at first but completely stopped replying to messages after we left. Overall, a bad experience that left a really bitter taste. Would not recommend.

Had an amazing time at the willow cabin just what we needed really and George was great at helping us with what we needed. The walk along the canal was so peaceful, only a 2 mile walk a long to the nearest pub. Looking forward to rebooking.

A fantastic location and setting. Room was perfect in every way. I was a little “tipsy”, so struggled in the dark, but , looking back, that helped make it a magical experience. 👍👍💋

We were in the kingfisher lodge from 21/8/26 for three days, we had glorious weather, and what a lovely peaceful three days we had, we met a family from Manchester Gary Tony and the family who were really nice down to earth people, there are three lodges and a gypsy caravan on over 2 acres of woodland and 3small lakes, wer big fish we’re getting caught some 8/9 pound while we were there, lovely walks along the canal which takes you straight down to the nearest pub and the village of wrenbury, the site is a one off place, which we are booking again for next year, if you fancy a change try wild escapes wrenbury it was brilliant, and George the owner who runs the site is a nice guy as well.
