Drift House

Chester Zoo and the historic city centre are within reach by car or bus from this converted barn near Tilston and Malpas, on the Cheshire side of the Welsh border. Tarvin Logs is close by for woodland walks. The property itself is set on private grounds with parking for four cars, a bike store, and an enclosed front garden.

Drift House has four bedrooms sleeping eight: two with king beds and ensuite showers on the first floor, one with twin single beds, and one with bunks. Three bathrooms serve the house. The ground floor holds a kitchen with range cooker, breakfast bar and full appliances, plus a separate dining room and sitting room with woodburner and smart TV; both rooms open via bi-fold doors to the garden. Essentials like electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included, as is initial fuel for the wood burner. A washing machine is in an external utility. The enclosed garden is furnished for sitting out, and there's a private wood-fired hot tub on the patio for six people.

One dog stays free. The property is non-smoking. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available if you need them, and there's a welcome pack on arrival.
