The Barn

Step through the entrance into a converted barn that spreads across two floors, offering space for up to eight people. The ground floor opens into a living room with a woodburner and television, leading through to a kitchen and dining area equipped for self-catering with a gas hob, electric range, dishwasher and all the essentials. An external utility room houses a washing machine and storage.

Upstairs are four bedrooms. Two have zip-and-link king beds (each convertible to two singles), both with ensuite showers. A third bedroom has a double bed, and the fourth contains bunk beds. A family bathroom sits alongside. Bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with gas central heating throughout. The property is non-smoking, and family bookings only.

Outside, an enclosed lawned garden with patio offers space to sit, with a barbecue for cooking out. There is parking for three cars on site. Helsby sits between Chester to the south and the attractions of Cheshire Oaks to the north; Manchester and Liverpool are within 40 minutes' drive. The nearby train station at Helsby connects to the wider network.
