About Super 8 by Wyndham Chester East
A restaurant, bar and breakfast service make Super 8 by Wyndham Chester East a straightforward stop for food as well as sleep, with a snack bar on hand for anything in between. The hotel sits within the Roadchef Motorway Service Area in Chester, so arriving off the M56 is simple and free on-site parking is guaranteed.
The 40 rooms include family options with separate sleeping areas, and are generally kept spacious and clean, though a handful of stays have found rooms less well looked after than others. Air conditioning, free WiFi and accessible rooms are all provided, and pets are welcome throughout. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the hotel is regarded as good value for what it offers.
Beyond the rooms there's a garden, meeting rooms and business facilities for those passing through on work, plus an electric vehicle charge point for drivers on longer journeys. What guests say
First impressions are good. Located in Cheshire East services, this a cute little hotel. Offered a great deal on King room. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Room is cleaned and modern. In the King room, there was a king sized bed, a pullout single bed and a sofa big enough for one adult to sleep. Modern en suite bathroom. There are no lifts as far as I can see so you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Let's see how this goes.

This is a gem of a hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with an enormous bed. The staff are always super friendly and dogs are very welcome (treats and a water bowl as soon as you walk in). The hotel being dog-friendly the rooms have hard floors so you might need a rug for your dog to lie on. The location suited us having visited family in North Wales and whilst being in a service station on the M56 might not be for everyone it suited us. Blackout curtains, very good windows and silent air con meant that a great night's sleep was had.

Our room was very clean and the sofa bed setup ready for our 8 year old. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect for our visit to Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium. We loved having the option to eat in the hotel or make use of the services. Check-in was easy and the chap on desk was very friendly. We also loved the feature wall with a photo of Chester behind the bed and warm under lights. For the price it was amazing.

This was our second time staying at the Super 8 Chester East, and it certainly won't be our last. Our first visit was just a quick getaway for me and my girlfriend, and it worked out so well that we decided to bring the whole family back for round two. This time, we stayed in one of their family suites with our three children, and it was absolutely perfect—clean, surprisingly spacious, and brilliant value for money. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. The ladies on the reception desk were absolutely amazing both times. No matter how busy they were, they were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and brilliant with the kids, which immediately sets a great tone for the stay. Location-wise, you can't beat it if you're exploring the area. It is incredibly close to both Cheshire Oaks for a bit of shopping and Chester Zoo for a day out. Because it's located right at the Roadchef services on the M56, it's effortless to get to, and having easy food options right on your doorstep is a massive bonus when you're travelling with three hungry children. A great, reliable, and friendly place to stay. We will definitely be back for visit number three!
