The Old Stables comes fully equipped for self-catering, with everything from a dishwasher and induction hob to bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. The kitchen handles proper cooking; beyond the basics there's a washer-dryer folded into the space. Heating comes via oil-fired central system, with a wood burner in the living area for atmosphere (initial fuel supplied, further logs charged separately). You get four bedrooms sleeping seven: three doubles and one single, with the main bedroom offering an ensuite roll-top bath. Two further shower rooms serve the rest of the property.
Accommodation spreads across the first floor of this oak-beamed listed building, arranged around an open-plan living and dining area with Freeview TV and DVD player. An enclosed courtyard with decked patio, seating and a BBQ opens from the house. The site includes stabling and grazing for horses, a bike store, and parking for five cars. No smoking inside. Rural location yet practical: a pub serving food is 300 yards away, shops about a mile, and Delamere Forest ten minutes' drive for walking, cycling and horse riding. Chester's cathedral and zoo lie eight miles off; Manchester and Liverpool are thirty minutes by car, with Helsby Station just over a mile away for train connections.
