About Flintstone Cottages
Going to Goodwood? Perhaps planning a beach day or two? And maybe adding a little wander around Chichester to the mix? You'll have found a fab spot for all that at Flintstone Cottages, in a handy rural West Sussex location about 15 minutes' drive from Chichester.
This place is run by owners with over 10 years of holiday letting experience, and it's been designed with self-sufficient motorhomes and caravans in mind. You'll be parked up at a large hardstanding area where pitches all have access to 16-amp electric hook-ups and water points, with space to put an awning up. It's a peaceful rural spot – the only noise comes from occasional passing trains on the nearby railway line. There's no hot water on site, so you'll need to be self-contained, but the gravel pitches are level and there's recycling available.
The location is brilliant for both coast and countryside. The Goodwood Estate is a 10-minute drive away, while Pagham Harbour for birdwatching and West Wittering for family beach days are both within easy reach. Dog-friendly throughout the year, with walks nearby and barbecues permitted.

The perfect base for our wedding! We booked the Lodge, the Barn and the Cottage to host a total of 17 family and friends making up our bridal party for a long weekend. All three cottages were immaculate, spacious and comfortable. We used the Lodge as the preparation room for the bride and all of the bridesmaids on the day, which has more than enough space and light for the hair and makeup artists to work with. Jo's communication before, during and after the weekend was superb and she really made it feel like a home-from-home. Thank you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect stay for our family gathering We had a wonderful stay at Flintstone Cottages! The accommodation was of great quality throughout—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds and bedding were especially cosy, and everyone had a great night’s sleep. We had two people in our group with accessibility needs, and the lodge worked perfectly—being all on one floor made everything easy and stress-free. At the same time, the loft space was a brilliant bonus for the teenagers and young adults in our family, giving them the space they wanted and needed. The cottages offered the ideal balance of shared space for spending time together, while still giving us the privacy we needed as a family coming together from four different locations across two countries. It made our gathering feel relaxed and easy. The location was peaceful and well-suited for our needs, and the host was incredibly accommodating—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. All in all, just a truly great stay. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable, inclusive, and well-thought-out place to stay.

Lovely accommodation. Great setting and very close to Goodwood. Just perfect. Jo the owner has done a great job. Proper home from home and for those with precious cars, undercover parking.
