About Lagnersh Camping

Tucked into five acres of peaceful West Sussex countryside, Lagnersh Camping strikes that rare balance between genuine rural retreat and easy access to both coast and attractions. Buzzards wheel overhead, deer occasionally wander through to graze, and a stile leads straight onto local footpaths – yet you're only ten minutes from well-stocked farm shops and the buzz of Goodwood Motor Circuit, making this an ace base for the Festival of Speed or Revival weekends.

The site itself keeps things pleasingly low-key: grass pitches (some with hook-ups), a firepit area for sociable evenings, and enough space that you never feel hemmed in. Facilities cover the basics without fuss, though some visitors note they can feel a touch tired in places.

Beach-bound? Pagham and Bognor Regis are ten minutes away, while Climping and the Witterings lie around twenty minutes down the road. The South Downs National Park beckons fifteen minutes north for walkers craving bigger views. It's proper middle-of-nowhere calm with civilisation reassuringly close.

Gorgeous caravan site with amazing views our two nights were good . Staff very helpful manager very accommodating as was the guys I spoke to that helped with our leads thank you . Toilets spotless clean and well cared for . Sadly there was guess a group of ppl living there in the top corner scruffy and loud allowing young teenagers to smoke bongs that's not acceptable in any formation let alone on a public ground a guy very loud all sat around a fire they really bought the site down scruffy a mess outside and had no respect also we were unable to fill our water up as a very abrupt guy was filling huge bag up on his car asked if he could stop to allow me to fill my kettle and he replied mate I be done soon and I thought ok but he still sat there ages filling up his bag I left it in the end I get he needed water but a I needed was a kettle this is not the staffs fault or campsites purely people that reside on there with no respect for the place they stay on . people like this that put guests off and create the reviews but on a good note I would stay again well away from them as staff and campsite is lovely a gem of a site the owners need to sort out the good and bad .

The place has a nice atmosphere with many families staying here—my kids even played with some girls until 10. However, the children’s facilities are not well maintained. A broken swing caused my child to fall; luckily she wasn’t hurt, but it could be dangerous for others. On the positive side, the kitchens are kept clean. Lots of stars .

Lovely little campsite, tucked back from the road. You can still hear the a27 but it's not intrusive. We were there for an event at Silverstone so it was busy, but this wasn't a problem as the atmosphere was very pleasant. The toilets were clean and always stocked with loo roll and hand soap, the showers could do with modernisation, there are only three and the night before the event only one was working so there was a queue. The electric pitches are quite tight, you will have other campers right up next to you if it's busy. The staff running the site were very friendly and helpful, and there is a nice washing up facility with soap and sponges, as well as some local info and games/books to use.

I want to start by saying that you really cannot fault the surroundings, the occasional tractor and bird scarer are all part of the fun of camping. staff members were polite and helpful, although maybe somewhat overwhelmed by the constant demand. The campsite has a large area of permanent/Semi permanent residents in larger motor homes in close proximity to holiday campers, However apart from the odd hour of loud music, they generally kept themselves to themselves. Toilet and shower facility's were fairly clean but perhaps a little small and dated. There were three toilet cubicles and three shower cubicles both of which were unisex, one of the shower cubicles was out of order and the working two in high demand by the permanent residents during the morning rush. Many of our female guests were a little bit put off by the presence of half dressed men in the shower facilities and toilets. The only other negative comment I would like to make is that shower, bathroom and washing up water was fed from a tank and had a very distinctive smell, certainly not a smell of cleanliness. The slow running tap for drinking water was usually occupied by the permanent residents filling multiple large containers.
