The Dairy
Chichester
The Dairy sits within a 36-acre working farm in Chichester Harbour, where fields roll out beyond the garden and wildlife thrives year-round. West Wittering's Blue Flag beach is nearby, as are the walks of South Downs National Park and the medieval streets of Chichester itself. Goodwood racecourse and its aerodrome lie close by. The surrounding countryside opens up to water—Itchenor offers boat hire and a foot ferry to Bosham, while the harbour itself has paddleboards, kayaks and fishing trips available.
The Dairy is a single-storey conversion in a converted-barn courtyard, sleeping four across two bedrooms: a super king and a zip-and-link pair of singles. The ground-floor layout keeps everything on one level, with a living and dining room equipped for entertaining, and a kitchen set up for actual cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, proper fridge space. One shower room serves the property. Bedrooms have French doors opening onto the garden, which looks out over fields; there is space for children to roam beyond the immediate garden area, and a pond sits 100 yards away in the grounds. The essentials—heating, electricity, linen and towels—are included, along with wifi. One dog is welcome. Non-smokers only.
