About Crouchers Hotel
Crouchers Hotel, part of the wider Crouchers Orchards estate on Birdham Road, sits on farmland south of Chichester on the road towards the marina, West Wittering and the harbour villages. The 26 bedrooms are split between the main farmhouse-style building and separate garden rooms, giving a quieter option than a purely town-centre stay.
The estate runs two restaurants, the Potager and the Cider House Kitchen, alongside a bar serving light meals, and also lets a number of self-catering cottages for longer stays or larger groups. The grounds and surrounding countryside are used for weddings and events throughout the year.
Its position roughly midway between Chichester itself and the beach at West Wittering makes Crouchers a practical base for combining a day in the city with an afternoon on the coast, and it welcomes dogs, which is not the case at every hotel in the area.

Nice set up in a good area but no air conditioning in this location with Summers so hot is poor. Unfortunately, a one way fan is not effective nor does it lend itself to a peaceful night sleep. Breakfast quality was great but service was slow for there hardly being any guests.

Had the most wonderful stay at Crouchers. Upon arrival receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and showed us to our room. Lovely room with complimentary tea,coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water and biscuits. Great powerful shower with complimentary toiletries (Dressing gowns provided). Had the most wonderful sleep and very peaceful. Thank you for everything. X

Stayed at Crouchers with friends and had a really lovely time. The rooms were beautifully done comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and all the little touches you'd hope for. It's such a peaceful setting too, surrounded by countryside yet only a short drive into Chichester. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was a real bonus. we didn't need to leave the hotel for a great dinner. Would happily go back.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Reception staff and duty manager very friendly and accommodating. Room was nice but the shower was disappointing. Took ages for the water to get hot and was intermittent with the heat. Breakfast was slow, need more staff working on a morning. Food very good when it eventually got to the table. Ordered coffee and it went to the wrong table. Not impressed with the slow service
