About The Castle Inn Hotel
The Castle Inn Hotel suits travellers after a slower pace: couples on a countryside break, walkers, cyclists and anyone using Chippenham as a base to explore Wiltshire without needing to drive everywhere once they've arrived. With just 12 rooms, it has the feel of a village inn rather than a large hotel, set in Castle Combe itself.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in room, and the hotel operates a 24 hour reception so there's flexibility around arrival and departure. Guests have use of a restaurant and bar on-site, along with outdoor seating, and breakfast is included as part of the stay. Free WiFi is available throughout, and free on-site parking makes it straightforward for anyone arriving by car.
Outside the hotel there's plenty to fill the days: walking and cycling routes nearby, golf and fishing within reach, and further pubs, bars and restaurants close by for evenings out. It's a practical, unfussy option for those who want Castle Combe and the surrounding Wiltshire countryside on their doorstep.
