What visitors say
I'm giving this campsite a 5-star rating because the lady at reception was incredibly welcoming and gave us a great overview of everything available both on-site and in the surrounding area. She explained where all the amenities were located, and the maps and information guides she provided were accurate and up to date. Our tent pitch was in a quiet area, with flat ground that made pitching and securing pegs really easy - always a bonus. The water point was conveniently close by, and the toilets and showers were consistently clean. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and appreciated how well organised and maintained the campsite was.

This site is neat and tidy with well cut grass but no flowers or hedging in the hard standing area. Just open plan pitches. The hard standing pitches have grass in between. When people encroach on these grass sections they can be close to your unit. Maybe, in the ‘do’s and don’t’ information, supplied on arrival, visitors could be reminded to walk around pitches with units on and not walk directly through them! Having people walk right next to you when you are sat out eating we found irritating. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Showers and toilet facilities were clean with radio 2 playing. My only negative was that there was no bench or stool to put your things on in the shower, just a couple of hooks. It’s a half an hour walk on grass paths and pavements into Chipping Norton, where there are plenty of places to eat. It was ok to use as a base for the couple of night we were there but we wouldn’t return.

A beautiful site, perfectly clean toilets and showers. With the added benefit of a disabled toilet with shower area, to include a baby changing area within, so perfect to shower the children together with a bit more space and privacy. A large camping field, plenty of size for each pitch, we had a 7 man tent as well as our car next to the tent. Made our first family camping trip a success, so thank you! Not sure any sites will live up to this now though.

Easy check-in and communication prior to arrival. Great flat pitch with EHU. Shower/toilet block/washing up room/laundry impeccably clean, warm and tidy. Water facilities, elsan and gas bottles available. Quiet night with respectful neighbours. Dog-friendly. Whole site is very well kept.
