What visitors say
My boyfriend and I stayed in the treehouse for one night to celebrate my birthday, and the trip was truly spectacular. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered by the farm, from the fire setup (with logs and firelighters provided) to the lights, hot tub, snacks, kitchenette, disc golf, and the incredibly comfortable bed. I also really appreciated that there were no hidden charges, which I found to be quite common with similar places when researching before booking. It was refreshing to know exactly what was included from the outset. Nigel Clark was very friendly when checking us in and made us feel extremely welcome. He recommended a walk to Amersham, which we did the following day, and we loved the beautiful views along the trails. I'd also highly recommend walking into the charming village called Sarratt, as there are some absolutely stunning views along the route, as well as some great cosy local pubs to enjoy. It's also incredibly easy to get to via the Metropolitan line for any Londoners considering a visit. The site is walkable from Chorleywood station, or alternatively there's a taxi rank right outside. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we definitely hope to return in the future.

Me and my partner had a little get away in the Shepard's hut for valentines day, a huge thank you to the hosts who were absolutely lovely, the shopping centre it 20 minutes away, the area it’s self was beautiful, quiet and extremely relaxing, if anyone is worried about leaving their pets behind and can become quite home sick honestly your nerves calm down. The best part about my stay was waking up and knowing I don’t need to rush to get ready to get to my horse even though I love everyday with him, I would say the worst part of the trip was leaving, we are looking forward to coming back in 2 months time to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I would highly recommend this place to people who want a quiet, relaxed weekend away, it is also pet friendly, the hot tub was absolutely perfect. There are also a few walks you can do which we didn’t experience but next time we will.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at North Hill Farm in the Sheep Retreat for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The place was so cosy, the weather was beautiful, and it made for such a relaxing break. There are lovely walks nearby, and the whole atmosphere felt peaceful and refreshing. The service was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the owner and all the workers there for making it such a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
