Interesting rural location, but narrow roads to get there. Good service. Value for money. Enjoyed the food and the drink and the hospitality thank you. Secure motorcycle parking in the quadrangle.

Terrible lunch today! We were a family of 20 booked in for sunday lunch celebrating my sisters 50 wedding anniversary! We were seated in the skittles alley which wasn't a problem! My roast pork was the worst roast I've ever eaten. Overprocesed cheap food. The service was very slow! The desert of sticky toffee pudding was ok. Overall a very dissapointing day for our family! Will never return!!!

We are regular visitors of the swimming pool here and today we experienced our worst time yet. In general we find people dont get out of the pool once their time is up. We, as a family of 5 get out of the pool 10mins early to get changed to make sure we are out before our time ends. Unfortunately a lot of people don't get out of the pool before their hour is up which then goes into the next person's time. Today we arrived at 13.59 (our slot was 14.00-15.00) and a family came out of the pool on time, which was great. We went into the swimming pool to realise another family had decided to take their chance and receive a FREE swim session and take our spot. We then told the staff that they were in there and they had taken up 10mins of our time. The staff told them to get out and these people full well knew what they had done and took their time getting out. After 15mins of our time taken up we asked for a refund so we could take our disappointed kids home. We were originally told we'd only get £5 back!.. We argued our situation and said we have missed a lot of our time in the pool due to this family thinking they could jump ahead of us during our paid slot. We finally got our full refund and the inconsiderate people didn't leave the swimming pool until 14.30! I strongly feel this swimming pool needs to be watched as people seem to think they can get FREE swims and push the paying customers out. Unfortunately we won't be returning here again.

Went for Sunday lunch food was excellent and would eat here again. The only down side was the service could understand the delay whilst it was busy but when you're the last couple in the dining area and it seems like all the servers have disappeared before you can order your desert, left before ordering coffee as it felt like we were being ignored.
