What visitors say
Absolutely horrific. Stayed there for one night and will never willingly return. There's one women's toilet, and it's a compost toilet. The showers were freezing cold, and the house next to the campsite was smoking drugs, which we could smell all through our stay. However, it's located near the main part of All Stretton and is near the Yew Tree pub. It's a brisk 20 minute walk into Church Stretton, and the view is very nice. The trains aren't very loud so it shouldn't disturb sleep. It also isn't very sheltered from the wind. Camping pitches aren't especially clear (as of late March 2026).

A basic campsite, but one that does the basics well. Showers were warm and clean. There was a space to wash up dishes. The views of the hills from the site were stunning. Pitches were large enough and well spaced. The only drawback is that as noted by other reviewers it is right by the rail line and close to a large road which creates some noise. It's worth it though.

Visited here the weekend unfortunately the weather weren't to kind to us, but the owners are brilliant.. came to check on us and made feel very welcome. The views are just beautiful in the rain or sunshine. Facilities were clean and tidy, well maintained. Provided with a camp fire and option of wood. Definitely recommend it. Not one negative comment to make. Thankyou!!

We turned up and had a friendly welcome by the younger owner who said camp where you want to. Then the senior owner turned up and told us to park in line with four other tents right next to the railway line, despite the rest if the field being empty. I asked if we could camp over the other side and he said no as we others coming for the whole weekend. So we set up tents where we were told and suffered trains passing every half hour throughout the night. Frustratingly no one else turned up to camp. This could be a really good site if it was further away from the rail line as facilities were fair and with some development it would be a great. The Yew Tree Inn does great beer and food, plus plenty of local walks.
