New House Farm Certificated Location

A great CL find. 5 huge pitches facing the calm fishing lake, surrounded by hills, gorgeous countryside and traditional farms. Walks directly from the site and a short walk to the village. 1 clean combined loo & shower. Highly recommend it, and we will come back. Lost a star due to the (largish) fishing crowd. Although they were relatively quiet, they did spoil the ambience. It would be better for all if the fishermen were restricted to one side of the lake only, and had no access to the area where CL site is. Appreciate it's another valid source of income for the farm, but more control over the fishing would be beneficial.

Excellent well kept site, with easy access from the main road and good signage to the pitches. We arrived at night in very thick fog and experienced no problems finding our pitch (google will try and take you to the house but good signs point you in the right direction). Fully serviced (water and electric on the corner) with very generously sized level, gravel pitches. Nice wide gravel roadway made reversing the caravan onto the pitch incredibly easy even in the dark and fog. Stunning rolling hills as the backdrop to the beautifully presented lake, with peaceful surroundings and sheep in the distance. We had several nights here and slept with no disturbance from the A road that provided such good access. With the windows open you can make out some light road sounds, but its barely noticeable. Walking through the field at the end of the track provided safe and easy access to Church Stretton (15min walk). All in all an excellent place to stay!

This is a very chilled and comfortable site, the owners were very helpful pitch is large and level, good water pressure Fabulous views, only 15 minutes lovely walk into church stretton where there are loads of shops... Mr Bun the baker (outstanding bread and sandwiches served in store) Stretton deli serves the most amazing quiche pies (a must try shop) As is the Kings Arms large portions and Fabulous quality. Only criticism is its also a fishing lake and there is a lot of activity with random people entering the site , there is no barrier to stop people entering any time of day or night.

Lovely location, peaceful, great size pitches, water and ehu, under a mile to walk into town. I would of given it more stars if not for the shower/toilet cabin had no heating and the water goes from the shower goes all over the floor, but the site has everything you would expect, working progress.
